Digiscout was created by Jacqui Viljoen. As an ex Bernina Benoni dealer she realized that a lot of Artista software user would like to try their hand at digitizing for an income. The problem that she solved with this website was that even a novice can now start selling their embroidery design and grow in quality and knowledge as the learn how to use their software.
With the fluctuation of the Rand over the last 24 month it became a problem to know what you will pay for a design set when it is listed in US$. So we called in the experts in the form of SETCOM.COM to do our transaction for the sellers. SETCOM.COM is a South African based creditcard processing company, that allow sales in US$, Euro, GBP and ZAR.
All payments for transaction on this site is handled by SETCOM.COM. All transactions is converted to the customers currency. Let me explain. South Africans will buy in Rand and pay in Rand, USA will buy in Rand and pay in US$ with their credit cards.
Secondly Jacqui also want to provide a platform for upcoming digitizers to make there design sets available even is they only have 1 sets or a few singles.
